Ponta do Ouro, translated as 'tip of gold', is a piece of paradise located at the southern tip of Mozambique, and only 15 minutes from the South African border. From the minute you cross the border you will feel the relaxation of being away from it all. You can only reach your destination by 4x4 as the roads are simply beach sand.

Take a 4X4s cruise to visit local villages and eat and drink with the locals. The sandy tracks of Mozambique offer surprise around every corner. We can visit the local baker, butcher (not for the fainthearted), and craftsmen in the villages, and also pop in at the local shebeen pubs.
